Balloting on industrial action at G W Padley Poultry at Anwick  nr Sleaford asked drivers and mechanics to take action after the company ignored its own avoidance of disputes procedure following a decision to impose notice of changes to terms and conditions of employment.

The T&G had refused to discuss changes to working practices for delivery drivers until the threat of imposed change was lifted and last minute initiatives brought forward new suggestions from the union.  Further discussions with the company have resulted in a new offer which is currently being put to members in a ballot.

The latest offer is being recommended by the Union for acceptance.
