Our purpose, to quote our rule book, is
- to regulate relations between members and employers and between members and members;
- to organise members for the purpose of obtaining,maintaining and improving hours, wages and conditions at work;
- to settle and negotiate differences and disputes at work;
- to promote the welfare of members and equality for all;
- to provide benefits for members
As a consequence we seek to have influence in every aspect of our members' working lives and then outside of that!
