A new team has taken over the leadership of the T&G. New ideas, a new industrial focus and a new determination to deliver for members takes the Union back to the vanguard of the movement after years of 'consolidation' , concession bargainingand 'business unionism'. The T&G is once again a union that 'does the business'.
The new direction is generating a new enthusiasm amongst activists, staff and officials and has already begun to lay to rest a period in the union's history that is best consigned to the past.
